Some of Gill and Francesca's Most Excellent Adventures! Just before the start of our Smokey Mountain National Park adventure! This is a run that takes you 70 miles along the AT with only one road access point for support. For some reason we chose Feburary; not our smartest move ever as we had to endure snow, sleet and winds at Clingmans Dome over 60 mph.
Western States Endurance Run - 100 Miles Gill heading down a VERY hot Duncan Canyon. A special thanks to our friend and terrific photographer Glenn Tachiyama for this picture. Gill - 7:58:24, good for 10th Place. You run just outside of Glacier National Park with the towering mountain peaks of Glacier as your back drop for the entire race.
