The race follows the scenic and flat Riverview Park paved footpath. Runners will proceed along beautiful Chesapeake Avenue; turn left into Riverview Park; at the 2.5 Mile marker runners will be turned around and follow the course back to the finish at Meade Avenue Park. The 4K walkers will us the same course. Mead Park Directions: Meade Park is located at the corner of Meade Avenue and Chesapeake Street on the east side of Charlottesville. Off-street parking is available. From the Downtown Mall: Take East Market Street to Meade Avenue, turn left onto Meade and go one block. Meade Park is on the right. From Route 250: Take the Bypass to East High Street (near Free Bridge at the eastern city limit), go south a few blocks and take the left fork onto Meade Avenue. Travel a few blocks and Meade Park is on the left.  |
