THE HOPE CENTER OF CHARLOTTESVILLE The HOPE Center of Charlottesville is a wonderful Community Center which provides support for local underpriviledged kids, the homeless and refugees. The HOPE Center offers after school study programs, a computer room and book bags for all the kids. Local homeless can also use the facilities and the computer room. The Mission of the HOPE Center is to build community, challenge poverty and fight homelessness. The HOPE Center helps the local kids with their homework, and provide job opportunities, clothing and training for the homeless and the refugees.
Darryl Rojas, one of the HOPE Community Center homeless, has been training with the Charlottesville Running Company Homeless Running Program, and will be running the 8K!
