GREAT EASTERN TRAIL RUN SERIES STANDINGS RULES 1) Runners must complete 5 out of the 6 possible races. There include the Tread Lightly 5K (January), Leave no Trace 10K (February), Bel Monte Endurance Runs (March. Only one is possible- 25K, 50K OR 50 miles), Low Impact 5K (June), Great Eastern Endurance Runs (September. Only one is possible- Half Marathon, 50K OR 100K), Pack it out Half Marathon (November). 2) The runner with the fewer amount of points will be the series' winner. 3) Races are only compared to the same race. For example, if Bob runs the Bel Monte 25K and Jeff the Bel Monte 50K, Bob will only be compared to other 25K runners, and Jeff only to other 50K runners. 4) There is no advantage or disadvantage in running the longer or shorter distances. The point of the series is to finish ahead of other series' participants, so pick the race where you think you will perform best. 5) The runners who completed 3 races after the Low Impact 5K (June), MUST finish GEER AND the Pack it out Half Marathon. Runners who completed 4 races after the Low Impact 5K (June), can pick between GEER OR the Pack it out Half Marathon.
